War ChildhoodProject author: Jasminko Halilović
Over 1.000 people participated in this interactive project which started in 2010. The aim of the project is to examine and present the collective experience of growing up in wartime. The first result is the book published under the same name in 2013. The book was presented in several European countries and translated into 5 languages after its success in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was published in Austria, and publications are soon expected in Japan, Poland and the USA.
B&H Photography of the YearProject manager: Haris Čalkić
B&H Photography of the Year is a festival of photography which is opened every year at the end of January in Sarajevo. The main exhibition is followed by several educational contents such as lectures, workshops and guest exhibitions. The festival also includes the greatest photo competition of B&H in which an international jury chooses photos for the central exhibition, as well as the winners. The central exhibition later travels to other cities of B&H and the region.
Portal Fotografija.baProject manager: Haris Čalkić
With more than 3.000 registered members, portal Fotografija.ba is the largest photography community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the largest in the region. In 2008, it was founded by a few admirers of photography, with the sole aim of socializing. In the meantime, more than 60.000 photos have been published on the portal. Fotografija.ba publishes author-photo-reportages in cooperation with the most read media in the country.
Musical heritage of B&HProject author: Amira Medunjanin
One of the most famous singers of sevdah, Amira Medunjanin, participated within the frames of this project in a row of activities that promoted the musical heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the world. This included the performance of the concert with the ensemble REKA which was previously included in the official cultural program of the Olympic Games in London in 2012. Apart from that, Amira Medunjanin took part in WOMEX, the greatest musical fair in the world.
Sarajevo – My City, a Place to MeetProject author: Jasminko Halilović
The luxurious bilingual monograph of Sarajevo represents the city in an interesting and unique manner. Apart from the author of the monograph, Jasminko Halilović, the co-authors of the monograph are: Nihad Kreševljaković (text), Haris Čalkić, Zijah Gafić, Milomir Kovačević and Anida Krečo (photography). The design is signed by Imelda Ramović and Mirel Hadžijusufović. The monograph is now the official present of the Mayor of Sarajevo.
Sarajevo in the heart of EuropeProject author: Milomir Kovačević Strašni
After having published the book 'Sarajevo in the heart of Paris', the most significant photographer of Bosnia and Herzegovina realised a follow-up of the project under the name 'Sarajevo in the heart of Europe', through Urban. The idea of the project is the presentation of the Sarajevo and the B&H diaspora in Europe through photographs of the objects which they carried with them. In the next phase of the project, the author will portray objects that the B&H diaspora is keeping in Norway.
Sarajevo photo-marathonProject manager: Haris Čalkić
The Sarajevo photo-marathon, in cooperation with the association Feedback from Italy, is being held in Sarajevo since 2011. It is a one-day photographic competition within which the participants create photographs based on six given topics. The best ones according to the jury are awarded valuable prizes. The aim of the project is to gather as many photographers as possible in order for them to socialize and exchange experiences, and to promote the Sarajevo tourism potential.
Portal Kul.baProject manager: Harun Kujović
A cultural-artistic laboratory, the portal on culture and arts, recorded more than 700.000 visits during its three-year-long activity and published around 3.000 news in the domain of culture and arts. A few hundreds of author-texts written by members of the editorial staff or by co-workers of the portal were published on the portal Kul.ba. In October 2014, the portal temporarily stopped working due to the inability to ensure sustainability.

Urban has undertaken a variety of activities from 2008 to 2010 with the aim of protecting Sarajevo Roses, one of the most significant monuments to the siege of Sarajevo. After the publication of text 'Disappearing Sarajevo Roses', written by Jasminko Halilović, more than 2.500 citizens signed the petition for the preservation of this monument. Apart from that, Urban and Studio Lisica produced the installation '7 spots – 7 Sarajevo Roses', presented at several European festivals.
